kanbanwall is a board for a team's work. To be one, it has to hold that work — the cards, who is on them and when they moved. This page says exactly what that means, in the order you would ask it.
The short version. We hold your account, your boards and the history of how they got that way. We encrypt the credentials you give us for other tools and never send them back to a browser. We do not sell anything, we run no advertising and we do not track you across other sites. Write to subscriptions@kanbanwall.ai and we will delete it all.
kanbanwall.ai is run by kanbanwall. For anything on this page — a question, a correction, a deletion — write to subscriptions@kanbanwall.ai. A person reads it.
| What | Where it comes from | Why we need it |
|---|---|---|
| Your name, email address and picture | the login provider you signed in with | to know whose boards are whose, and to show who did what |
| Your boards: cards, titles, columns, limits, dates | you and your team, as you use the board | it is the product |
| The board's history: every move, as an event | the same | the day counters, the cycle time and the time machine are made of it |
| Images you add: faces, photos, anything pasted on the wall | you | to draw the wall you made |
| Credentials for tools you connect (such as Jira) | you, through that tool's own consent screen | to read what you asked us to read |
| Keys you make for agents and pipelines | you, in a board's settings | to let them in; we keep only a hash of each key, never the key |
| Ordinary server logs: addresses, times, errors | your browser talking to ours | to keep the service up and to find faults |
We ask for nothing else. There is no profile behind your account, no interest graph, and no field whose only purpose is marketing.
Everything on a board is stored as an event, and the events are what make the numbers honest: a card can be rewound to the day it was written. So deleting a card takes it off the wall and out of the statistics, but the history of that card stays in the log until the board itself is deleted. If you need something gone from the history as well — a name typed by mistake, a photo that should never have been pasted — write to us and we will remove it.
When you connect a tool such as Jira, you approve it on that tool's own screen and we receive a credential for it. That credential is encrypted before it is stored, is never sent to a browser, and is deleted the moment you disconnect — which you can do from Connectors on any board, or from your account with that provider.
We ask for the narrowest access that does the job. Today that is read-only: we can see the issues you can already see, and we cannot change anything on their side. Anything wider will be a separate question, asked before it is used, never a box already ticked.
kw_guest) if you try a board without an account: it
is a long random number that says which demo board is yours, and the database keeps only
a hash of it.
That is all of them. No advertising cookies, no third-party analytics, nothing that follows you off this site.
One page shows a video: About embeds YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode, so YouTube sets nothing until you press play; once you do, what it keeps is under YouTube's own privacy policy.
We use a small number of suppliers to run the service, and no one else:
We do not sell personal data, we do not share it for advertising, and we hand it to authorities only where the law actually requires it.
Data is stored on servers in the European Union. We keep a board for as long as its owner wants it, and an account for as long as it exists. Ask us to delete your account and we delete the account, its boards and their history, and any credentials you had connected. Backups roll off within 30 days.
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our holding it. Write to subscriptions@kanbanwall.ai and we will answer within a month. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.
When this page changes in a way that matters, we will say so on the service before the change takes effect, and the date at the top will move.
